THE work of contemporary artists from a Swansea-based group has gone on display at the White Room at the city's Grand Theatre.

15 Hundred Lives includes the work of Swansea Metropolitan fine art students Sylvie Evans, 56, Graham Parker, 58, Heather Lithgow, 63, and graduate Rose Davies, 57.

Co-founder Sylvie Evans said: "Our artists use a wide range of media, so everyone should discover something which not only interests them but also allows them to gain a fresh perspective on the world."

Swansea councillor Erica Kirchner added: "Exciting times are ahead of the ingenious collective brains behind the 15 Hundred Lives Contemporary Art Group, which exposes some of the wealth of local emerging artistic talent."
